School Green Centre - Opened 10th November 2021

Andrew Grimes is leading the development of the new £3m Shinfield Community Centre Project now officially known as the School Green Centre. The Project is funded by capital from Wokingham Borough Council and Shinfield Parish Council which has been raised from CIL and Section 106 agreements. The new centre was officially opened by Professor Robert Van de Noort, Vice chancellor of the University of Reading on 10th November and will host refreshments after the Remembrance Day ceremony on 14th November.

And in September 2024 a pop-up cinema/lecture theatre opened curtesy of Shinfield Studios.

Nine Elms Vauxhall Health centre funded

Andrew Grimes and Adriaan Van Heerden have been working with Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group, Lambeth Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS Property Services Ltd to develop the Outline Business Case for a 2000 sqm NHS Primary Healthcare Centre to support the residents of the fast growing developments in Nine Elms and Vauxhall around Battersea Power Station. In July 2017 Wandsworth borough council approved full funding of the £13m scheme at Sleaford St.

Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group approved the Full Business Case in January 2020. NHS Property Services and Wandsworth Borough Council have signed the Funding Agreement in October 2020.The scheme will now proceed  with the aim of opening the facility by 2024.

In 2023 Peabody homes handed over the shell and core for the Sleaford St health centre and fit-out has commenced with completion and opening at the beginning of 2026.

In more news from Wandsworth the new Brocklebank Health Centre moved into fit out in December 2024 and is planned to open in the summer of 2025.

Whilst in Greenwich the Burney Street Surgery is closed for remodelling to increase capacity funded by a Section 106 grant and re-opens early in 2025.
